How to Use:

• For best results, use this spell kit during the waning moon phase - with 'just past the full moon' being the optimum time. A waning moon is ideal for pushing things (in this case, negativity and harmful intent) away from you.
• Place the candle in the centre of your altar and arrange the tokens around it, aligned to the cardinal points:
  • Obsidian (to represent protection and Earth) to the North
  • Feather (representing air) to the East
  • Charred Palo Santo wood (representing fire) to the South
  • Natural Shell (representing water) to the West
• Clear your mind and focusing solely upon your intent, light the candle.
• Stare into the flame breathing deeply, and imagine a warm white light surrounding you, growing brighter and stronger with every breath that you take. With each inhalation, draw the light within you, and push out bad energy and negativity with every exhalation.
• For expanding the spell to include your home, simply continue to expand the light, to surround all that you wish to protect.
  
• When ready, say your own words, or use the provided chant. Repeat it 3 times.
• Snuff out the candle while anointing the charm in its smoke.
• Place all items except the candle in the pouch and tie it closed with the charm. Keep it somewhere safe, close by. This is now your protective charm.
• You can relight the candle, any time you feel the need to strengthen your casting.
