How to Use:

  • For best results, use this spell kit during the waning moon phase - with waning gibbous to waning crescent being the optimum time. A waning moon is ideal for pushing things (in this case, bad memories and emotions) away from you.
  • Write down what is troubling you on the blank intention scroll.
  • Place the candle in the centre of your altar and arrange the tokens around it, aligned to the cardinal points:
    • Obsidian (to represent release and Earth) to the North
    • Feather (representing air) to the East
    • Charred Palo Santo wood (representing fire) to the South
    • Natural Shell (representing water) to the West
  • Clear your mind and focusing solely upon your intent, light the candle.
  • Stare into the flame, imagine a soft white light surrounding you, and focus on releasing that which no longer serves you.
  • When ready, say your own words, or use the provided chant. Repeat it 3 times.
  • Now light the intention scroll and placing it in a fireproof vessel, envision releasing all that has held you back, as it turns to ash.
  • Snuff out the candle while anointing the charm in its smoke.
  • Place all items, including the candle remnant in the pouch and tie it closed with the charm.
  • When you are ready, bury it somewhere it will not be disturbed.
